What is C.E.R.T.?  -  Community Emergency Response Team 

Citizens helping citizens!  In the event of an actual catastrophic disaster, emergency services will not be able to meet immediate needs.  People will have to rely on each other for help.  Realizing this the Los Angeles Fire Department decided that some basic training in disaster survival and rescue skills would improve the ability of citizens to survive until responders or other assistance could arrive.  Thus in 1985, the C.E.R.T. program was born;  conceived and developed by the Los Angeles Fire Department.  Below you will find C.E.R.T products that we offer.
